A U.S. Airways flight 1716 from Philadelphia to Boston has been unloaded on the tarmac of Boston's Logan Airport as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is reporting a 'security incident,' WCVB reports.

Police with dogs swept the plane. Crew members appear to have climbed back onto the plane and bags have been packed in large bins. The plane is making its way to the gate without the passengers.

WHDH correspondent Hank Pillippi Ryan reported that a suspicious package was reportedly on the plane, noting that there are a lot of Boston marathoners in the airport.

Ryan notes that there is "a sense of being in a different Boston" because the city feels different and interactions between people are more polite and calm.

State Police spokesperson David Procopio told CBS Boston that the security incident is not related to Monday’s bombings, but WHDH notes "the stress of yesterday has not dissipated."
